All About Minecraft
To download the Minecraft Forge mod loader, visit Minecraft Forge We suggest you choose the installer-win (Or installer if you are using other OS) as it is more user-friendly.
Part 2 : Install Mod Loader Note : Make sure you have the correct Minecraft version downloaded to your computer prior to installing the Mod Loader.
1. To install, start the installer. Click the Install Client button, then click OK.
2. The installer will begin patching the version files and downloading any libraries from the internet.
NOTE: Cracked launchers may cause the installation process to fail. Follow this guide to fix it.
3. When you launch the Minecraft launcher, you will find that a profile called Forge is added into your profile list. https://jasonotto.net/ You can remove the profile and create your own profile, and then select the Forge version manually.
Optional: You can remove the Forge profile, and then change the version name to whatever you want, but this require some extra skills which I will not cover here.
Part 3: Install Mod 1. Check your AppData folder for.minecraft and open it up to check if mods are there. If not, create one.
2. Google for mods! I am trying this Minimap mod. Make sure you download the correct version of the mod, otherwise it won't work!
Note : Always review their description, requirements and assistance before installing any mod!
3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in .jar file) into your mods folder in .minecraft.
Part 4 - Loading mods into game Start the Forge Minecraft Version. This screen will pop up. If the installation is correct, you'll end up with the amount of mods installed and 3 displayed at the bottom left of the screen.
NOTE 1: If you install many mods at once you may find it incompatible with other mods. Always check their mod pages to find any mods that are not compatible on their list. NOTE 2: Install the mods one by one to determine which one will cause the game to crash. This will make it easier to fix mod issues.
